Violette Sticker's Story
Violette Stickers began in 2004 when owner Teresa Castle was searching for a new career that would be exhilarating and fun everyday. Founder Teresa Castle is a Univeristy of Kansas engineering graduate and a California State Berkley Graduate with a rare masters degree in structural and earthquake engineering. After traveling the world retrofitting buildings in Japan and stabilizing California structures, she decided on a career shift and landed on stickers Her passion for stickers started in the 1980's as a kid collecting and growing up in the midwest near a Hallmark production facility with access to all the latest designs.
Violette stickers started out by licensing Victorian Images and then grew to all sticker categories, but will forever be know for the most beautiful rose stickers and fun dressed animals in victorian costumes. These stickers are a staple in the main catalog today and some of the best sellers include white roses, dragonfly roses and dancing cats.
Violette Stickers started a monthly sticker club subscription in 2018 that ships a collection of stickers every month for one low fee ideal for people who love stickers and getting a surprise package in the mail. You can join today and start seeing what all the excitement is about.
Recently, after Teresa's three kids left for college she moved the business to Kansas City where she grew up in the midwest to be closer to family.
Teresa's sister, Rachelle Pfortmiller Moley joined the business as partner in 2021 with a degree in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. She spent 20 years in the fashion industry also traveling the world working as a cutting edge trend manager designing prints, patterns and selecting new colors., Rachelle is a great addition to the team and now working on stickers designs and marketing for Violette stickers as the company is making huge strides to get into more US retail stores.
